Bios - Missy
Instrument: Vocals, Acoustic Rhythm Guitar
From: Started out in Belton, Texas. Moved to Paris, Arkansas with the family looking for a better life. Now reside in St. Charles in the house I was meant to live in with my lovey. Naomi!
Hobbies: Running and eating (in that order), refinishing antique furniture, fishing for very small fish, home improvement projects, spending time with family/friends at PoDunk, did I say running? The thing I enjoy the most is being at home surrounded by love and music.
Gear: Fender acoustic guitar, Crate amplification and pink picks.
Music History: I played the French Horn in my high school band for 2 years, other than that, not much for a couple of decades. I have always enjoyed listening to the acoustic guitar. When there was no one else around to listen to, I decided to pick one up and teach myself. I dabble in songwriting. It is a desire I picked up from my grandmother. Sadly, I am about as deep as a parking lot mud puddle. Most recently, my best boy friend got me a tambourine, I think I have a future.
Influences: I grew up listening to a transistor radio and whatever 8 tracks my parents had. Specific musical influences would be artists who not only write, but perform their own material. I could name names, but that's not nice. The biggest influence on my life is my son. He inspires me to do things I never thought I could do. He's gonna be a football star!
