Musical History: I started playing the violin when I was 9 and continued playing through high school with the school orchestra. It wasn't until I was thirteen that I picked up the guitar. I taught myself to play using tips from other players, and guitar magazines. After a few months I began playing leads along with Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King, and John Lee Hooker C.D.s. My love for the blues and blues guitar players helped me hone my improvisation skills, which helped me with playing other styles of music, like country and rock. I had always listened to country music but it wasn't until later that I became passionate about playing it too. My first band experience was called Tin Pan Alley, which was a blues/classic rock three piece. Next, I began playing country music with Haywire, which is where I met Darren. Then Darren and I moved to another country band called Cedar Creek. After that I decided to take a little time off from playing in bands, but it wasn't long before a felt the itch to play again. And here I am.
